Wait No More Messages

FAQ’S

  • We've put together a simple how-to video here that explains the step-by-step process of either starting your giving for the first time, or adjusting your current level of generosity to Wait No More. There is also a link to WeAreMission.CurchCenter.com/giving (our secure Planning Center giving platform) to help you get started. As always, if you have any questions. please send us a note at giving@wearemission.com.

  • Wait No More is a “one-fund” initiative. This means during this two-year period, every contribution to God through Mission Church is a contribution to our Wait No More initiative. Both the operating budget and building costs for the next two years will be funded by Wait No More. Therefore, every week becomes a time to celebrate and contribute towards what God is doing in us and through us to help more people find and follow Christ in The 10 and beyond.

  • Be creative as you explore ways you and your family can give towards Wait No More. This could be in the form of stocks, property, or you may have some stored resources that God has blessed you with in the past that He might be inviting you to release or repurpose during this time. Please let us know if you need assistance with arranging gifts of property or stock, and we would be happy to help you with that. You can contact our Co-Founding Pastor, Tommy Bowman at tommy@wearemission.com to make a gift of this type.

  • Wait No More is about your total, radical, sacrificial generosity to God’s work through Mission Church and your transformation during this time. We believe that God calls us to action in times of hardship just as much as He does in times of abundance, and that looks different for every person. Wait No More is about a heart change - one that is only accomplished by surrendering our lives completely over to God in this area of giving so that we can break camp and advance. That may mean that you are being challenged to sell things, to pick up odd jobs, or even to trust God in faith by making a commitment that you don't quite know how to fulfill right now, but that you believe God will provide as you seek for ways to sacrifice and work towards that commitment. Our prayer is that 100% of us engage in Wait No More so that we can all be supporting, loving, encouraging, and praying for one another through this spiritually-stretching season at Mission. Please reach out to us for prayer and guidance as you navigate through this time, and we would be honored to walk alongside you as you Ask, Believe, Commit.

  • If you are currently working to pay off debt, we commend you for making progress on that and you should continue to do so. We would be happy to help you in this journey and/or to recommend a budgeting class that could practically help you. Being in debt does not need to prevent us from experiencing the joy and challenge of giving. Giving isn't about what God wants from you; rather, it's about what God wants for you. So it should be our joy and privilege to give at all times, no matter our situation. Please contact us if you need assistance with this or if you would like to speak with a budgeting counselor, and we would like to help.

  • Wait No More was crafted specifically with you in mind! Wait No More is a "one-fund" generosity initiative so your very first gift can contribute to all God is doing at Mission.

We believe that God will transform every person who trusts Him during Wait No More.

  • Wait No More is about God’s vision for our church and God’s vision for you as His son or daughter. We believe that the local church is one of the most compelling missions to give towards, and we would really love for you to make Mission Church your home and join us in this Wait No More adventure. If you are ready for it, this is a perfect time for you to put a stake in the ground and make this your church. Say yes to this incredible invitation as we all Ask, Believe, and Commit together!

  • Great question. People take different spiritual steps at different times. Some people begin praying before they begin attending church. Others begin going to a church service before they begin talking to God in prayer. Giving is another spiritual step, and it comes at different times for different people. One thing is for sure, however; just like other spiritual disciplines, giving draws us closer to God. And God is calling ALL of us to give. Jesus shares, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:19) Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, we would encourage you to still join us as we Ask, Believe, and Commit in this Wait No More initiative. We firmly believe that it will draw you closer to God and hopefully move you towards greater trust in Him and to experience His love for you.
